This week we had the opportunity to work with Sushisamba, the global brand focusing on food, drinks and entertainment and they requested a large format canvas print – 120cm x 240cm.
We were excited by this opportunity to be able to adorn the walls of their premises. The artwork was prepared perfectly, at 120cm x 240cm with 300dpi. We accounted for the canvas edge wrap and off to the printer it goes. There was an additional request for a glossy finish. Our canvas prints are typically matte finish but our customer requested for a nice shiny varnish to it. We did our best to customize our canvas to their needs. We applied 4-5 layers of glossy varnish, allowing enough time to dry in between.
On site, we only had two wall knobs to work with as we are not allowed to drill. So our experienced installers created hanging solutions on-site to adjust the height of the canvas print according to their needs.
